Q. Is the entire service provided in the mobile salon?
A. Yes, our mobile salon has everything we need, including all-natural products, a heated Hydrobath, a dryer and a friendly groomer whose attention is focused on your pet.

Q. How long does the grooming take?
A. It can depend based on the service that we are providing your pet as well as their size, breed and length of fur. Plan on about an hour or 90 minutes if your dog has a very long coat.

Q. What are your prices?
A. They range based on the breed and size of the dog, the condition and length of their coat, and the services that we are performing. We will be able to give you a precise estimate when you schedule your appointment.

Q. Why does it cost more to get a full grooming?
A. Our prices are based on the type of service that we are performing and the amount of time it takes us to perform.

Q. Do you offer a group or multiple dog discount?
A. Yes, please call for details.

Q. Do you wash with warm water?
A. Yes, our special mobile bath unit heats the water as it pours into the tub.

Q. What is a Hydrobath?
A. The Hydrobath produces a gentle combing action spray of shampoo and water through a hand-held massage sprayer. The shampoo solution gently penetrates through the hair and down to the skin. It removes dirt, debris, loose hair, dead skin and dander for the healthiest skin possible.   We recommend frequent treatments if your dog has chronic skin problems. And dogs love the massaging feeling!

Q. Should my dog have the anal glands expressed with each grooming?
A. We check the anal glands as part of the regular grooming service and express them when needed. Animals naturally express these glands during normal everyday functions and they should only be expressed when necessary in order to to prevent irritation or infection.  

Q. Do you groom aggressive dogs?
A. We cannot allow our employees to take unnecessary risks with their health and safety and so we will not be able to groom an animal that is aggressive or threatening.

Q. How often should my dog be bathed or groomed?
A. In general a grooming every 4 to 6 weeks is recommended.   The frequency varies on a per animal basis depending on a breed and coat type.   It is good for your dog to be groomed and/or bathed before becoming overly dirty or matted.

Q. How far in advance do I need to schedule an appointment?
A. We are always happy to fit in a last minute request if our schedule permits. We recommend though that you always book at least a week in advance and at least two weeks in advance before and during the November and December holiday season. But to ensure that your pet can always be seen on your preferred day and time regardless of the season, we recommend that you book a standing appointment.

Q. Do I have to be home while you groom my dog?
A. Until we get to know you and your dog we'd prefer that you be home while Clean Puppy is there. Once we develop a good relationship with your dog, we'll be happy to make arrangements for bathing and grooming even if you're not home.   Please call for details.

Q. What if I have to cancel my appointment?
A. Please call at least 24-48 hours prior to the scheduled time.   This gives us a chance to fill the appointment slot with someone from our waiting list.

Q. What methods of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash, checks and credit cards.
